The Santa Clara Fire Department holds a number
of training courses in Emergency Medical Services throughout
the year. These are presented by certified instructors from
the Suppression and Emergency Medical Services Divisions. Some
of these courses include:
- American Heart Association Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR) for City Employees
- Elementary First Aid for participant citizens in the Home
Emergency Assistance Team (HEAT) training
(Classes are offered throughout the year)
