This code adoption cycle represents the third time that all Santa Clara County Fire Departments through the Santa Clara County Fire Chiefs' Association have worked towards making the Code more uniform throughout the County. With the exception of the administrative sections of the code, approximately ninety-five percent of the fire code continues to be uniform throughout the County.

Included, as part of the Municipal Fire and Environmental Code, is "Exhibit A" which is the Santa Clara Fire Department Fee Schedule. The fee schedule contains the list of fees for service provided by the Fire Department. Since it has been three years since the last fee increase, fees have been increased to more accurately represent the cost for the service provided.

As mentioned previously, in the documents listed below are the amendments to 2000 Uniform Fire Code adopted by the City of Santa Clara.
